Helping the Community

Touched by the devastating flood of 2015, Carolyn Starr Ellis painted an artwork showing how South Carolinians "felt like birds out on a limb hoping and praying for someone to come help". Help came from all over. Carolyn put up this painting for auction with proceeds going to help flood victims. SC Senator Katrina Shealy was the highest bidder for the original C.A. Starr painting to benefit the Flood Victims of 2015.

Always a supporter of the community, Carolyn has donated artworks for various local fundraising efforts including Arts on the Ridge, Heart Foundation, Lexington School District One and Relay for Life to name a few.
